Straight Hair Styles
Smooth and Silky
Go from springy curls to a smooth straight hair style
Bored with your curly hair style and want easy way to get those straight hair styles you've always wanted. Well I am going to share with you how I easily get my curls to turn into the straight hair style you see below.
Now I personally don't like my hair poker straight and prefer to leave a few larger bouncy curls left in, but you can easily get yours even straighter with a tad bit more effort.
So how do I get a straight hair style out of that mass of natural curls below? After 24 years of working as a hairdresser, the easiest and fastest method I have found to get my hair straight is with the Revo Hair Styler. Yes, you heard me right, I can go from my naturally curly hair style to a straight hair style in 20 minutes using the Revo Styler alone.
I used to have to spend at least 20 minutes alone just drying either my hair or a customer's hair and then still have to go over the hair with a curling iron or hair straightener to get the hair smooth. Now I just spend 20 minutes with the Revo Hair Styler and I am done.
And the secret to getting a straight hair style with the Revo Hair Styler is...
Section the hair and dry each section individually!
It sounds like a pain and seems like it would take longer, but it doesn't once you get the hang of it. In fact, it goes much faster when drying each section of hair individually.

Here are the easy steps I use to get my straight hair style
- I normally start off with washing and conditioning my hair with Halo, Paul Mitchell, or Nexxus shampoo and conditioner (I like to rotate my hair products).
- I then use a quarter size amount of gel and run it completely through my hair.
- Starting at the bottom, I take about 2 inch sections and dry each section individually.
- Once the section is dry I just put it in a quick pony tail using a scrunchy to keep it out of the way while I dry the next section of hair.
- I dry the sides and back under and I dry the top towards the back.
- Now I tend to get a bit lazy and rush things at the end which is why it isn't completely smooth, but with a bit more effort on your part you can get it much smoother with paying a little bit more attention to each section of hair.
Once done drying your straight hair style, just fluff, spray and go!
Finding a Revo Styler
Need a Revo Styler to get this straight look? Well I have been having a tough time finding them. It's kinda been like trying to find a needle in a haystack!
I ordered one off of the As Seen On TV Retails website and so far I haven't seen my Revo Styler or my money...so I would suggest you stay away from buying a Revo Hair Styler from them!
In the meantime here are the Ebay listings for Revo Stylers. If you find a good source for the Revo we would appreciate it if you could give us a holler and let us know where you found them.
