Looking for Tips on How to Style Hair?


There are endless possibilities when it comes to ways you can style hair. The main objective is to determine what hair style you want. Then you will want to consider what type of hair you have to start with to determine the best methods, products and tools you need to use to get the hair style you have chosen.

We are currently listing general tips on how to style hair. In the near future we will expand to list how to style hair by types. Type of hair will include fine, normal, and coarse hair textures, as well as straight, wavy and curly hair types.




Smooth and Sleek
This long straight hair style worn by Faith Hill will require you to:

  • Apply a small amount of anti-frizz serum to damp hair.
  • Blow dry your hair as straight as possible using a vent brush. (If you have curly hair you may need to use the Revo Styler to get your hair as straight as possible.)
  • Taking sections, use a straightening iron to straighten each section of hair, getting it as smooth and straight as possible.
  • Top off with your favorite smooth & shine polishing product.

Scrunchy and Wild
This long scrunchy hair style worn by Julia Roberts will require you to:
  • Apply a small amount of mouse to damp hair.
  • Use a diffuser to blow dry your hair with your head upside down, alternate running fingers through your hair and scrunching it.
  • Flip your head right side up and continue scrunching.
  • While hair is still just slightly damp, top it off with Paul Mitchell Super Clean Spray while scrunching it more with your head upside down as well as right side up.
  • Let air dry completely and spray and scrunch some more.

Beautiful and Bouncy
This short curly hair style worn by Charlize Theron will require you to:
  • Apply a small amount of anti-frizz serum to damp hair.
  • Blow dry your hair as straight as possible using a vent brush. (Curly hair may require the Revo Styler to straighten and smooth.)
  • Using the Caruso Steam Hairsetter, take medium sized sections, rolling each section on a large roller. (Roll top and crown straight back, and sides and back down) Leave rollers in until hair has cooled.
  • Remove rollers, flip your head upside down and run your fingers through your hair, lightly fluffing it.
  • Top off with a Paul Mitchell Super Clean Spray to hold in place.
