The Hair Color:
This blonde and red color, obviously is going to be a bit tricky. The blonde color covering the top portion of the hair is more of a dirty blonde that may not require a high lifting color depending on how dark your hair is.

The hair will need to be separated and colored separately with care taken to prevent the colors from running into each other.

The red color covering the bottom half of the hair will need to be lifted to a blonde color shade before the red is applied to allow for the trendy bright red shade. Otherwise the red will end up more of a dark burgundy if applied over darker hair.

The red color will need to be a more specialized color that will be difficult to find in most stores. It is recommended that you consult with a hair stylist professional to achieve these blonde and red color tones.

The Hair Cut:

  • The hair is long angled around the face starting below the chin line. The angle can be achieved using scissors or a razor, depending on your stylist's preference.
  • Long layers are also added to give off the wispy look and allow for the red color shade to show through at the bottom.

The Hair Style:

  • Use hair gel for curly hair to help weigh it down and pull out the curl. Use a lighter mousse for straight hair to help get that wispy look without weighing it down too much.
  • Using a vent or round brush, blow the hair dry and while directing the ends with an ever so slight tilt up.
    • If your hair is curly you may need to use a ceramic hair straightener to smooth the hair some taking note not to smooth it too much so you don't lose the 'messy' look. Also be sure to lightly curl the ends up with the straightener.
  • If the hair has too smooth of a look, you may need to flip your head upside down and lightly spray and fluff the hair and then flip right side up and spray and fluff again.
